Standard leather billfold with $ pocket, 2 card pockets, and 2 misc. pockets underneath the card pockets (one on the left and one on the right).
Made from thin vegetable tanned leather & waxed thread. The black leather is hand-dyed and the natural tan is hand-oiled & sealed (this option will gradually darken with time & use). Hand-cut, hand-punched holes and hand-sewn, classic saddle stitch style.
Vegetable tanning is the lengthy process of treating hides with plant & tree bark tannins to produce leather. "Veg tanning" is one of the oldest methods of tanning around. The result is a leather with a distinctive look and feel that ages beautifully.
SIZE: The Buck measures approx. 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" when closed. Opens to approx. 3-1/2" x 9-1/4". NOTE: Wallets may feel stiff & tight when new but will stretch & soften with use.
