I've made a bunch of leather bowls but it never occurred to me that I could dye the leather BEFORE wet forming! These bowls aren't finished yet - they'll be detailed and shined later - but they seem to be drying & setting up real nice!
Palm Trees! How I have missed you! I used to burn palm trees onto leathergoods awl the time when I was on St John. For some reason I stopped doing them... until now. I made this blue notebook cover and thought it needed some detail on the front - and before I knew it, the old familiar heat-pen strokes were making their way on the leather! 🌴
