Thin and lightweight leather case for cards and ID. Lays nice and flat in the pocket! Two pockets inside. Each wallet is handcrafted and made to order from vegetable tanned leather.
The black leather is hand-dyed and the natural tan is hand-oiled & sealed (this option will gradually darken with time & use). Hand-cut, hand-punched holes and hand-sewn, double whipstitch style, with waxed thread.
Vegetable tanning is the lengthy process of treating hides with plant & tree bark tannins to produce leather. "Veg tanning" is one of the oldest methods of tanning around. The result is a leather with a distinctive look and feel that ages beautifully.
SIZE: Card case measures approx. 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" when closed. Opens to approx. 5-1/4" x 4-1/4". NOTE: Wallets may feel stiff & tight when new but will stretch & soften with use.
