This small notebook packs a punch with it's unique, masculine, rugged design. Made from distressed water buffalo leather, it has that broken-in, weathered look that so many of us love. The replaceable notebook inside slides into the pocket on the right, and the pocket on the left is perfect for cards, receipts, etc. There is a leather strap with solid brass rings that cinches the notebook closed. The strap is long enough so that if/when you fill The Shorty with papers, etc, there is still plenty of room to cinch it tight.
Each cover is handcrafted and made to order. They are hand-cut from the hide with hand-punched holes for stitching, and hand-laced with round leather cord.
Despite its matte or dry appearance, Crazy Horse leather is impregnated with oils. With use, the oils are redistributed and the leather will develop a natural, rich patina. Please note, color may slightly vary from hide to hide.
SIZE: The Shorty measures approx. 5" x 6" x 1" when closed. Opens to 10-1/2" x 6".
The short, fat, spiral notebook inside (included) measures 5.5" x 4.5" (with lined pages at 5-1/2" x 4"). Refill with Meade 5 Star notebooks, Fat Lil' notebooks, or any notebook in a similar size. *Color of spiral notebook may be different with each order.
