I 🧡 my repeat customers. I'd met this kind lady and her family previously and when they visited my booth again this year, I'd forgotten all about the bag she bought!
Sometimes when I lay out a hide for the first time, a certain portion - or marking - on the leather catches my eye.... and I know immediately that it will be used in a certain way in the future.
That was the case for the flap on her leather bag. I saw an area on the edge of the hide with a rip and said "Tracey, THAT will someday be the flap on a bag".
