For those of you that are new to Awl Made Here, I am a one person leather-craft biz and have been at it for over 25 years now. It's way more than just a hobby, it's my j-o-b. It's how I make a living, and lucky me - I love it. If you have questions about leather, I'm your gal. I'll do my best to answer them all. If you need to get in touch and you send an inquiry from the website or an email, or call or text, I will be the one to respond. The photographs on the site of my product? That's me. I take the pics. Shipping? Yep, I take care of packing & shipping too (shipping is FREE, by the way). Upkeep of the website, social media, ordering supplies, banking, and making: yes, I do it all.
It's the MAKING though, that I love best.
I make leather bags, backpacks, and purses. Leather wallets, cases, and leather notebooks also. I make belts, pet stuff, jewelry and accessories.
Lots to keep me focused & lots to keep me busy.

Why in the world would I add BLOGGING to my long list of things to do then?
It might sound crazy to you (it even sounds kind of crazy to me) but I think it will actually HELP me, and maybe (hopefully) help you too, in some way, shape or form.
Since I like feeling organized, I'm hoping that blogging will help to get my thoughts & ideas (my mind is chock full) laid out nice & pretty.
